Children, Teens & Adults Welcome! (ages 6 - adult)
Taking piano lessons should be a great experience. If you are brand new to piano lessons you are at the right place. Beginners are always welcome!
We teach all ages, it doesn't matter if you are an adult, a teenager or a child as young as 5, we have the right teacher for you. Our teachers have years of musical training, teaching and performance experience, are friendly and warm and remember how much fun it is to discover music. We make it a priority to get to know you on a personal level and to become familiar with your interests, strengths, challenges and goals. We do not treat every student the same in terms of what and how we teach. Each student is an individual and we work with you to create a plan that fits your needs and musical preferences. At the first lesson your teacher will ask questions about your favorite music, goals, background, etc. and then create a curriculum to help you accomplish whatever musical dreams you have for yourself or your child. After you learn the fundamentals, you'll be able to learn anything from Beethoven to Taylor Swift, Jelly Roll Morton to the Beatles.

Beginner Piano
Piano lessons for beginners of all ages will typically focus on a variety of exemplary method books. These books are carefully crafted to be fun and engaging while instilling fundamentals such as note-reading, music theory, and technique. All of our instructors love teaching beginning students, and they provide a positive, encouraging environment for the student.
Intermediate Piano
Piano lessons for intermediate students will focus on expanding technique (scales), repertoire, theory, and musical refinement. Intermediate students are typically graduated out of using method books and starting to learn more complex pieces of music.
Advanced Piano
Piano lessons for advanced students will focus on cultivating advanced piano technique, repertoire, and musical refinement. Advanced students have a lot of experience and typically wish to take the next step towards becoming a professional musician. Our highly qualified instructors can help you achieve your goals, whether it be preparing for competitions, or for auditions to pursue music at the college level.

New To Piano Lessons? Things to consider for your playing success.

What kind of keyboard will I need?
Although an acoustic piano is always best, it is not necessary to begin lessons. Many of our students begin with a full size electric keyboard (preferably with at least semi-weighted keys). Once they decide they like it, we recommend that you consider renting or purchasing an acoustic or digital piano so that you or your child gets the most from lessons.
The most important thing to know when renting or purchasing a keyboard or digital piano is that it must have full sized keys (each individual key should be the same size as an acoustic piano key) and it must be touch sensitive (if you hit the key hard, it makes a loud sound, if you hit it softly, it makes a soft sound) and have fully weighted keys. It is best to get a keyboard with at least 61 keys so that the student does not outgrow it too quickly (a regular piano has 88 keys).
Whenever possible, a weighted action is preferred to a semi-weighted or non-weighted action so that students can practice on an instrument that closely resembles the feel of an acoustic piano.
Recommended fully weighted action digital pianos
