Certificates, Award Wristbands and Trophies to celebrate achievement!
At Moscow Music Academy, we believe that it’s important to set short term goals with our students. The first year of taking lessons can be the hardest part for many music students. They can easily get frustrated and lose motivation. That’s why we offer the Musical Ladder System to all of our enrolled students who would like to participate.
This music achievements and rewards system is being used by music schools across the US and Canada to inspire music students to practice more, track their progress in a fun and measurable way, as well as enhance their love of music. Similar to karate belt tests, students can periodically have their teacher test their latest skills. Once they pass, they receive really cool color wristbands with the name of the level they passed. They also get a certificate of achievement, and at certain levels students will also get a personalized trophy with their name on it.
Moscow Music Academy is the only music school in Moscow Idaho/Pullman Washington and the Palouse region that gives their students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), achievement certificates, and trophies, passing musical tests with the Musical Ladder System®. Do other area schools offer trophies and certificates? Maybe a few. But none inspire their students with smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool Musical Ladder System® wristbands that they can show off to their friends. More importantly when our students have a test coming up, they practice more, their parents are proud, their teachers are proud, and everybody wins! In North Central Idaho, you can only get the Musical Ladder System® at Moscow Music Academy, so what are you waiting for? “Since adopting the Musical Ladder System®, we’ve seen a huge increase in motivation and enthusiasm from our students, young and old alike. As soon as they see our wristband display their eyes just light right up, and they are practicing and accomplishing more than ever before in order to reach their next levels and get their wristbands! Our older students appreciate the recognition of achieving and meeting benchmarks in their learning and playing as well. Our Instructors have noticed the difference too, as each of their students now seem to be even more engaged in their weekly lessons. As a former athlete and still active musician it's great to see something like The Musical Ladder that rewards and recognizes musical achievement much like what athletes experience.”

"I was surprised at how excited Theo was about the Musical Ladder system. He seemed to really like the idea that he could help decide on the particular goal to achieve in order to earn the first apprentice wrist band. After he earned his wrist band he started calculating how many years he could continue with the Musical Ladder until he reached the end! In the meantime, his wrist band has earned a prized position on his night stand."
